As Fort Lewis College is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is conducive to the pursuit of learning and the development of students as scholars and citizens, the Student Conduct Policy identifies students’ responsibilities for the maintenance of this environment. Student conduct charges managed through the Student Conduct Policy are resolved in accordance with the Fort Lewis College Grievance Procedure.

This Policy is promulgated in accordance with the policies of Fort Lewis College. Should you have a question or concern about a policy or procedure, please contact the Student Affairs Office. Reason for Policy
To initiate operating procedures for the consideration of conduct violations and the imposition of disciplinary sanctions in an efficient, consistent, fair, lawful, and educational manner.

For oversight of the policy: Vice President for Student Affairs
For notification of policy: Policy Librarian
For procedures implementing the policy: Dean of Students, and Student Conduct Coordinator, or designee
