2-6: Contribution of State Controlled Funds to a Separate Entity
Fort Lewis College operates as an agency of the State of Colorado and is funded by state appropriations, tuition and fees, and other miscellaneous types of revenues. The College operates as a non-profit institution and, as such, all revenues are intended to be used for state business purposes.
Contributions made from College revenues to a separate entity are not appropriate as state business purposes and, therefore, shall not be authorized as College disbursements.
This policy was approved by the President's Cabinet on May 11, 1995.
