9-6: Protected Natural Areas and Native/Outdoor Classroom Areas

It shall be the policy of Fort Lewis College to manage the native plants in areas identified on the most current Master Plan as protected natural areas or native / outdoor classroom areas with the cooperation of the Biology and Agriculture Departments. The Physical Plant Services Grounds Shop shall consult with the department prior to undertaking work that impacts native plants in these areas. Exceptions to this policy may made to protect the health, safety, or welfare of the public.
